Start exploring the Old City of Bukhara. Highlights of the walking tour will include the Lyabi Hauz Ensemble, Magoki-Attori Mosque, Chor-Minor Madrasah, trade domes, Kalyan Minaret, Kalyan Mosque and Miri-Arab Madrasah, Ulugbek and Abdulazizkhan madrasahs, Ark Fortress, Bolo-Khauz Mosque, Ismail Samani and Chashma-Ayub Mausoleums, and various trading domes.
Visiting Sitorai Mokhi-Khosa – the summer residence of Bukhara’s last emir, which is outside of the city, Visit Chor Bakr Necropolis and Mausoleum of Bakhouddin Naqshbandi. Naqshbandi was the spiritual teacher of Amir Temur and made hajj to Mekka 32 times. He appealed people to be modest and rejected the luxury. His philosophy was based on the principle: «Dil ba joru, dast ba kor» («The heart — with the God, hands at work»).
Bukhara is the birthplace of the seven great Sufis of the Nakshbandi order. Visiting the mausoleums and memorial complexes of Khoja Abdalkhalik al Gijduvani, Khaji Mukhammad Arif al-Rivgari, Khaji Makhmud Anjir-Fagnavi, the Khaji Ali Ramitani, Khaja Makhammad Babai Samosi, Khajj Sayyid Amir Kulal and of course, Mausoleum of Bakhouddin Naqshbandi.
